How a single task works

Each task has its own guided steps. SellStar shows only the decisions needed for that process: different for joining CSV, converting XML to CSV, updating prices or exporting products.

1. Choose the task and source

Start with a concrete task, then select input data: a local file, URL, Drive file, FTP/SFTP or an integration profile and dataset such as products or orders.

2. Check and clean the data

In Data Studio you see a table, XML structure or text preview. You can filter, sort, remove and add columns, apply transformations, formulas and AI operations where they help.

3. Set the output or destination

For file tasks you choose CSV columns, XML records, join keys and field mapping. For integrations you set the target, data range and fields for import, update or export.

4. Preview before use

Before saving, exporting or updating you can inspect a sample result, record count, warnings and key file or operation parameters.

5. Save the result or the whole task

Save the result to Drive, send it to FTP/SFTP, download it as a file or run an import/update. If the process repeats, save it as a task.
